Here you can submit details of an event you may be involved in. First, please make sure you have searched the database and that it is not already there - the system won't allow duplicate submissions.

Events you submit here may also be listed in other websites, e-mail bulletins, and print publications. The details you submit will be checked by the What's On York events team before being added to the database, and we'll e-mail you to confirm once this has been done. If there's a problem with the details we'll aim to get back to you too. Remember, this database just covers the York area.
As well as filling in the details of events you can create a custom location map, and upload images to accompany your listing - you might like to have your images ready in .gif or .jpeg format, as well as the event details, times, prices etc. Entries are free of charge.

Usually you'll just be submitting the details of an individual event. However sometimes your event may be part of a series of linked events, such as festivals. The submission process invites you to associate your event with one of these 'parent events'. If it's not already there, please contact the What's On York events team by email or by telephone to 0870 608 0092.

If you are likely to be submitting events on a regular basis, you can set yourself up with an event organiser account. This means that when you login with your email address and password the system will recognise you, and automatically pre-enter details such as contact information and venue information - this can save time for multiple submissions.
