Between 4 - 6 March 2008, around 30 York based artists and makers will open their studios and houses to the public, offering the chance to meet the artists, and to see and buy a wide variety of art & craft in an informal non-gallery environment in the 6th annual York Open Studios event. Our selection process strives to include a wide cross section of professional artists working in a variety of media.
As well as meeting the artists and experiencing their work, there are many practical arts demonstrations available over the weekend at sites indicated in our free directory. The directory also features a detailed map showing the location of each venue. Details of participating artists and their work is also available from our website.
